Though a proud Seattle-native, I've had the amazing opportunity to live overseas for over ten years in countries such as Fiji, Turkmenistan, Tonga, and Jordan. The colors and textures of the many countries I've experienced have contributed greatly to my overall design aesthetic. Having recently moved back to my beloved Pacific Northwest, I live with my family in Portland, OR.
As for my background, I'm a mix: a switch from teaching to the field of design was spurred by a crazy desire to create and a love of type, coupled with an opportunity to learn web design, a path which led to a Master's Certificate in Design from online design school Sessions.
